Before you say yes
Isn't this a legal or compliance headache for me?
No. Every machine is built around what its location requires — USDA Smart Snack compliance for schools, standard business permits everywhere else — and we hold and renew all of it. You sign a simple placement agreement with us, nothing with any regulator.
Is the food in schools actually compliant?
Yes. School units are stocked exclusively with items that meet USDA Smart Snack nutrition guidelines, reviewed before anything is loaded. Card and cash both work, and the cabinet is built to resist tampering and theft.
How does the AI smart fridge actually work?
Someone taps or scans a card to unlock the doors, grabs what they want, and walks out — no barcode scanning, no line. Computer-vision sensors track exactly what left the fridge and charge the card automatically. It tracks items, not faces — no facial recognition.
How does the charger kiosk return work?
Borrow a charger from the kiosk, use it for up to 24-48 hours, then return it to any NexVend charger kiosk location. Return windows and any late fees are set per location and shown at the kiosk.
Why is my share only part of the profit?
Because we cover 100% of the cost and risk — the machine, every permit, restocking, service, and marketing. A hands-off share of the profit beats a bigger cut you'd have to manage yourself. And if it's not worth it to you, we remove the machine at no cost, no questions asked.
What if it doesn't work out?
There's no lock-in contract and no cost to try it. If the machine isn't earning its space, we pull it — free, no hard feelings.
